Educator Data Center Tour: CoreSite × Nomad Futurist Foundation

CoreSite, in collaboration with the Nomad Futurist Foundation, is proud to host an exclusive data center tour for educators from the Mountain View-Los Altos High School District. This immersive experience is designed to familiarize educators with CoreSite’s Santa Clara facility, introduce key concepts in digital infrastructure, and provide an overview of available educational resources and academy modules that connect classroom learning to real-world careers.

During the tour, participants will gain firsthand insight into how data centers operate, the critical role they play in today’s digital economy, and the wide range of career pathways within the digital infrastructure sector. This educator-focused visit will serve as a foundational experience, preparing teachers to later bring their students back to explore the facility themselves and engage directly with the industry.

Led by Chris Pruitt, Western Region VP of Data Center Operations at CoreSite, this event marks the first in a growing lineup of collaborative initiatives between CoreSite, the Nomad Futurist Foundation, and the Mountain View-Los Altos High School District. Together, the organizations are committed to expanding awareness, access, and inspiration for students as they discover future careers in technology and digital infrastructure.
