Leonard Kay is the CEO of www.DataCenterJobMarket.com, the leading Data Center focused career platform.

He has worked in the Data Center industry for 18 years & has experience in design, build, operations, marketing and sales of both data center and network solutions. 

He enjoys the people side of the industry as much as the technology, so for the past six years has been using his industry knowledge and contacts to build sales and technical  teams across Europe. He also consults for both data center operators and clients.

Passionate about minimising the industries impact on the environment, he led presentations to win UK Green Data Centre awards & has given talks on cooling infrastructure efficiency at British universities. 

He built DataCenterJobMarket.com because he believes that the data centre industry has a talent problem that cannot be solved simply by advertising more jobs.

The platform is designed to bring the industry’s opportunities together in one global place, while helping candidates understand the range of careers paths available from entry level and apprenticeships through to highly specialised technical and leadership roles. Ultimately, the aim is to help the industry build the workforce it needs for the next decade, rather than continually competing for the same people we already know.
