Location: Malaysia

Annelise Wong is a Real Estate undergraduate at the University of Reading Malaysia, with interests spanning real estate, digital infrastructure, technology, sustainability, and investment. She has gained practical experience in real estate valuation and market research in Malaysia, developing an understanding of how property, infrastructure, and investment intersect.

Alongside her studies, Annelise previously served as President of the Business Leadership, Entrepreneurship & Investment Society and currently continues her involvement as a Student Advisor. She is also a CoreNet Global Student Member, engaging with the wider corporate real estate community.

Her current areas of exploration centre on how the rapid growth of AI and digital infrastructure is reshaping the built environment, particularly through data centres, energy infrastructure, sustainability, land use, and investment. With a particular interest in Southeast Asia, she is curious about how the region's growing digital infrastructure needs can be balanced with sustainable development and influence the future of real estate and urban development.

As a Nomad Futurist Fellow, Annelise hopes to deepen her understanding of the digital infrastructure ecosystem while contributing a real-estate perspective to conversations about technology, sustainability, and the future of the built environment.
