Flexential Data Center Tour for Portland Community College Educators

On August 12th, a group of Portland Community College educators will take part in an exclusive data center tour hosted by our partners at Flexential, in collaboration with the Nomad Futurist Foundation.

This behind-the-scenes experience is designed to give educators a closer look at the infrastructure powering our digital world. From understanding the critical role data centers play in everyday life to exploring the careers that support them, this tour aims to bridge the gap between education and industry.

By engaging directly with Flexential’s team and exploring their facility, educators will gain valuable insights they can bring back to the classroom, helping students better understand the opportunities in digital infrastructure and how to prepare for them.

This initiative reflects a growing effort to connect academic institutions with real-world technology environments, and to equip the next generation with the knowledge and tools to thrive in a rapidly evolving digital economy.
