Fireside Chat | Nomad Futurist Foundation at OSU Cascades

We’re thrilled to announce our key speakers for a fireside chat, “The Wiz Behind the Metaverse: Unveiling the Future of Data Infrastructure” at Oregon State University-Cascades on 10/14 with these industry professionals Hannah Harrer, Garrett Gladden, and our very own Nabeel Mahmood!

As an industry, we are facing a human capital deficit, and it’s crucial that we bridge this gap by helping the younger generation connect with and understand the potential of our industry. Events like this are at the core of the Nomad Futurist Foundation’s mission—empowering and supporting emerging talent.

Why Attend?

• Gain insights from leading experts on the future of data infrastructure

• Learn about career opportunities in an industry ripe for innovation

• Connect with a community passionate about shaping the next generation of digital infrastructure professionals

• Hands-On Learning Opportunity: We’ll be offering a data center tour for select students—an immersive experience to see firsthand how the backbone of the internet and digital world operates. (Please note: Data center tour is ages 18+ for this one).

• Empowerment: Learn how this industry is working to demystify technology and the data infrastructure sector, and why your involvement is crucial in shaping the next generation of tech leaders.
